In fact there is really no difference between 'heathen' - heath dweller, and 'pagan' - country dweller, and Christopher Lee [as Lord Summerisle in the film 'The Wicker Man'] was really just teasing the narrow-minded Scottish Christian policeman... well, wouldn't you ?

If you really want to know - heathen evolved from Germanic roots and Pagan came from Latin.

Yeah you're right.... nowadays in german Paganism is "Heidentum",but i've heard that Paganismus is also often used... that's bit sad in fact...

And Pagan -->Pagus is the word for farmer... after 7 years learning Latin, i'm able to use it for only one word!...lol

but i don't really understand the link between GeheimStaatPolitik and Heathen... can you help me to make it clearer in my mind?

Sure, the link was that GeheimeStaatsPolitik is a non-BM side project of mine, in the style of heathen-neo-folk/martial-industrial, with which I have made a song called "a heathen conceivably", using a sample from "The Wicker Man".

The other songs there are "52" about the terrorist attacks on London, "L'aube au chien qui fume" about WWII and "Auf dem Weg zurück aus der Lichtung des Schneewaldes" which is a short story in music about a man who has to take another man into the forest and kill him: it represents his thoughts as he returns from the middle of the forest.
